Parliament Continues Work of Regular Sittings

On September 10, the RA National Assembly continued the work of the regular sittings, by voting passed the draft laws debated on the previous day, except the draft laws on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Tax Code authored by the RA NA deputy on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code authored by the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction.

The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented a group of draft laws for debate of the parliament which were proposing to amend the CSTO Treaty and Statute.

Tatevik Hayrapetyan presented the endorsement of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

The MPs Shirak Torosyan, Mikayel Melkumyan, Arman Babajanyan, Sos Avetisyan, Viktor Yengibaryan, Ruben Rubinyan expressed their viewpoints on the last Agreement, which touched upon the regional problems, the foreign policy being pursued by Armenia, the efficieny of the structure, the arms sale to Azerbaijan by the CSTO member states, particularly, the opportunity of Azerbaijan being part of the status of an observer or partner.

Afterwards Gevorg Papoyan presented for debate in the first reading the draft law on Amending the RA law on Compensation for the Damages Caused to the Life or Health of the Military Servicemen during the RA Defense.

The member of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Kristine Poghosyan noted that the draft law was endorsed. She proposed the MPs to vote for the draft law.

The Deputy Head of the RA Police Hovhannes Kocharyan presented to the parliament in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on the Provision of the Road Traffic Security and the enclosed presented draft laws.

The MPs’ questions related to the registration of the transport through electronics, the procedures of the car technical examination, the objective reasons of the traffic jams, the evacuator service works and the accident awareness through the mobile supplement.

The member of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security Armen Khachatryan called on to vote for the package of the draft laws.

The parliament debated in the first reading the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Infringements and the enclosed presented package of the draft laws.

In his final speech ArmenKhachatryan presented the statistics data.

The Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan presented the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Infringements, and the parliament debated the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Code on Administrative Infringements.

The member of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs Suren Grigoryan presented the endorsement.

The MPs also debated the legislative initiative proposing addenda to the same Code.

At the last sitting, in accordance with the RA Constitutional law the NA Rules of Procedure, the RA NA deputies made statements.

The parliament will continue the work of the sitting on September 11, at 10:00.
